The state of New York has recently launched an online-portal service for those who need legal support, no matter the reason. This service launched by The New York State Bar Association gives New York residents a quick and easy way of finding a lawyer. The portal was launched by The New York State Bar Association’s Lawyer Referral and Information Service.
The portal is available all day and is completely confidential. The New York State Bar Association teamed up with Legal.io, which offers referral management tools for those in the legal community. The new system allows lawyers such as Jeremy Goldstein to offer their services to more people at a much lower cost. The new system allows someone to complete a confidential questionnaire which is then analyzed and matched up with a lawyer in the community or nearby area.
Referrals are free, however there is a $35 fee for the first half-hour consultation, if the client talks to a lawyer who they were referred to. However The New York State Bar Association’s LRIS offers exceptions based on the legal issue brought up, such as personal injury, unemployment military law, and medical malpractice.
When looking for a lawyer using this system, you could end up speaking with Jeremy Goldstein. He is the leader of Jeremy Goldstein & Associates and specializes on executive pay and compensation. Jeremy Goldstein is also a top litigation lawyer.
Jeremy Goldstein prides himself on successful transactions he has been a part of for the last 10 years including the Verizon and ALLTEL Corporation merer, the United Tech and Goodrich merger. Jeremy Goldstein is currently a part of the Mergers & Acquisition Subcommittee of the Executive Compensation Committee. Jeremy Goldstein has spoken many times across the country on executive compensation. He has been featured in several business magazines including Forbes and Financial Times.
